What COP+ does
Common Operating Picture (COP+) is the live emergency map in H2CommandCentre. During an event, it is where you define the hazard area, track resident status, place response resources like roadblocks and air monitors, and pull the reports that prove what happened and when.
COP+ works alongside the rest of the platform: callouts notify residents inside your hazard area, VEOC embeds COP+ for full emergency operations, and a Wildfire licence adds wildfire monitoring features to the same map.
How you get in
Sign in to H2CommandCentre and select COP+. From there you choose how to work:
Browse a map without starting a session.
Create a session as a Test, Training, Exercise, or Emergency.
Open Callout Manager to manage callout messages.
From a VEOC session, click COP+ in the left-hand menu.
What you can do inside a session depends on your permissions. See Understand roles and permissions.
What you can do on the map
Save and manage map bookmarks for the views you use most.
Search by legal location, resident name or phone, or any asset or place.
Define a hazard area and reshape it as the event changes.
Place response features: air monitors, command posts, zones, and roadblocks.
Check incident weather for the hazard area.
Manage residents: view information sheets and change statuses.
Use the Toolbox: layers, basemaps, markup, measuring, coordinates, and spatial selection.
Report: print the map, export the Hazard Area Report, and review the audit log.
Share a map snapshot to VEOC (VEOC licence required).
