Delete one or more contacts

Delete a single contact from its record, or check several and delete them together. Both paths ask you to confirm before anything is removed.

Before you start

You need Contact Manager permissions. Deleting a credentialed user removes their sign-in access; it is also the only way to change a credentialed user's email.

Delete a single contact

  1. Search for the contact you want to delete.

  2. Click the red trash icon at the end of the record.

  3. In the confirmation message, click Delete. Click Cancel to keep the contact.

Delete multiple contacts

  1. Search or filter to bring the contacts you want onto the screen.

  2. Click the checkbox beside each contact you want to delete.

  3. Click the red Delete button in the top right of the screen.

  4. In the confirmation message, click Delete. Click Cancel to keep them.

Bulk delete only affects the records you have searched, filtered, or loaded onto the screen. Records behind the Load More button are untouched until you load them. Check what is on screen before you confirm.
