Enter and convert coordinates

Coordinates Display puts a live coordinate readout on the Common Operating Picture (COP+) map. Enter a coordinate to zoom straight to it, and add conversions to see the same location in multiple formats at once, such as UTM and decimal degrees.

Open the tool

  1. Open Toolbox in the left-hand menu.

  2. Click Coordinates Display. The window appears at the top left of the screen.

Add conversions

  1. Click the up arrow at the top right of the window.

  2. Pick the conversion types you want under Add conversion. You can choose more than one; each shows the location in its own format.

Enter a coordinate and zoom to it

  1. Click the pencil icon at the bottom right of the window.

  2. Type the coordinate in the format of the selected conversion, then confirm. The map zooms to that location.

Format matters. Each conversion type expects its own input style:

  • UTM: 10U 477464 6018586

  • DD (decimal degrees): differs from the XY input style, so match the example shown in the window.

The window also offers Capture mode and Format Settings for adjusting how coordinates are picked up and displayed.
