Measure distances on the map
The Measure tool reads distances straight off the Common Operating Picture (COP+) map: from a roadblock to a residence, or along an egress route point by point. The window shows the unit and a running total as you click.
Steps
Open Toolbox in the left-hand menu and click Measure. The Measure window opens at the top right.
Click the map to place your first point. The cursor changes to cross-hairs.
Keep clicking to trace the route. The measurement appears on the map, and the window shows the Unit and the total.
Double-click to finish the measurement.
Start another or clear up
Click New Measurement and start clicking again. Double-click to stop.
To remove all measurements from the screen, click the Measure button.
