Select an area and export everything inside it
Spatial Selection answers "what is inside this area?" for any shape you draw on the Common Operating Picture (COP+) map. It returns a tabbed Spatial Search Results report covering everything from surface developments to railways, and each tab exports to Excel.
Draw the selection
Open Toolbox in the left-hand menu.
Click Spatial Selection. The cursor changes to cross-hairs.
Left-click to place each point of the polygon. Each click adds a blue point joined by a dashed line.
Double-click to close the polygon. The Spatial Search Results table opens over the screen.
Read and export the results
The tabs include Surface Developments, Owned Pipelines, Owned Wells, Owned Facilities, Owned Valves, Third Party Pipelines, Third Party Wells, Third Party Facilities, Health Services, Oil and Gas Regulators, Law Enforcement, Local Authorities, Urban Areas, Forest Management Areas, Trappers, Areas Of Interest, Railways, and Reserves.
To keep any of it:
Open the tab you need.
Click Export Xls and save the file.
Repeat for every tab you want. Each tab exports separately.
Closing the report with the X discards it, so export first.
Manage the selection
New Selection clears the results and lets you draw again.
Clear Selection removes the selection from the map.
If you click Back to Map without choosing either, the selection stays on the map and its results stay accessible.
