Track form status on the Status Board
The Status Board shows the approval state of the ICS forms you choose to track, in one view the whole session can read. Instead of asking whether the ICS 201 has been signed off, anyone opens the Status Board and sees it. You control what appears with a single checkbox per form.
Before you start
Requires an IAP licence. You need to be in an active Virtual Emergency Operations Centre (VEOC) session. Forms must exist in ICS Forms to be tracked, and only forms in the approval workflow have an approval state worth watching.
Put a form on the Status Board
Open ICS Forms from the left-hand menu.
Find the form and select the checkbox under the In Status Board? column.
Read the Status Board
Select Status Board in the left-hand menu.
Each tracked form displays its approval state.
On mobile: the Status Board is available from the main menu, so field users see the same form states as the EOC.
Use it in the rhythm of the response
Put the forms for the current operational period on the board at the start of the period, and the board becomes your documentation checklist: what is filed, what is approved, what is still outstanding. See Set objectives and operational periods.
