Share a map snapshot to VEOC

One click on the camera icon posts your current Common Operating Picture (COP+) map view into the VEOC session as an image. The whole EOC sees the hazard area exactly as you see it, without anyone opening the map.

Before you start

A VEOC licence is required, and your COP+ session must have an accompanying VEOC session. See What VEOC does.

Steps

  1. Pan, zoom, and set up the map so the view shows exactly what you want to share.

  2. Click the camera icon in the top menu bar.

  3. Done. The snapshot posts as an image to the VEOC Main Forum and Dashboard, attributed to you with a timestamp.

Where it lands

In VEOC, the image appears in the Main Forum feed and the COP+ Screen Shot panel on the Dashboard. See Configure your VEOC dashboard.
