Use VEOC on your phone

Run VEOC from the H2CommandCentre mobile app, with the same sessions as the web plus camera capture, an Attachments list, and quick session switching.

Use VEOC on your phone

The Virtual Emergency Operations Centre (VEOC) runs in the H2CommandCentre mobile app, so the session travels with you to the field. Initiate sessions, join them, post to the Forum, work breakout rooms, and manage users from your phone; the sessions are the same ones your EOC sees on the web.

This article covers what is different on mobile. Every task article in this section carries its own "On mobile" notes, so start with the task you need and come back here for the mobile-only pieces.

Get the app

Download the free H2CommandCentre app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, then sign in with your account. See Install the mobile app.

What is different on mobile

  • Camera capture. Take and post a photo from the incident scene directly, or pick an image from your device. See Share files and photos in the Forum.

  • Attachments list. Open Menu, then Attachments to browse every file shared in the Forum, the same list as the web.

  • View-only org chart. The chart shows users, positions, and contact numbers but cannot be edited on mobile. Position changes go through the user list. See View and export the organizational chart.

  • Switch Session. Jump back to the session list from the menu to move between active sessions without signing out.

  • Direct and Private messages send from the Users list rather than the Forum bar. See Send Forum messages.

  • E-ERP files. Access your company's E-ERP files from the mobile menu.

  • Reports are web-only, with one exception: the mobile menu offers the Attendance Report and Session Forum Log. See View session and attendance reports.

Everything else works where you expect

Initiate a session, add users, breakout rooms, the emergency assessment matrix, ICS forms, and the IAP features (check-in, objectives, Status Board) all run on mobile. Personal display settings live under Menu, then Settings: Configure your VEOC dashboard.
