If an organization has shared a registration link or QR code with you, you can add yourself to their notification list so they can reach you when it matters, for example during an emergency in your area. You choose how you are contacted, and you can update your details or remove yourself at any time. No one on their team has to enter your information for you.
Register for the first time
Open the link or scan the QR code. A registration form appears, titled Registration for the organization's name.
Enter your name, email, and phone numbers. Add your address if the form asks for it.
Choose how you want to be reached. Email, text (SMS), and voice calls are all selected by default. Turn off any you do not want
Create a password that meets the requirements shown.
Click the green Register button in the top-right corner. You are now on the organization's notification list.
If your browser offers to save your username and password, choose Save or Never, whichever you prefer.
Sign in if you already registered
Open the same link and choose Already have an account? Login at the top of the form.
Sign in with your email and password.
Update your details or opt out
Sign in through the same link any time to change your information or how you are contacted. Update what you need, then click Save All. To stop receiving notifications entirely, click Unregister.
Good to know
Your email is your username. Once you register, you sign in with that email.
Your email cannot be changed later, because your login is tied to it. If your email changes, register again with the new one.
The link does double duty. Before you register it shows the sign-up form; after you register it shows a sign-in prompt instead.
