H2CommandCentre is the web portal for your H2Safety emergency management applications. One sign-in gets you to notification, mapping, virtual operations, contacts, and response plans. This article tells new users what lives inside and where to go next.
The platform is web-based and hosted in Microsoft Azure, so there is nothing to install for the desktop experience. It supports five core workflows: response team notification, unified communication, documentation and reporting, GIS mapping with public safety and spill response, and Emergency Response Plan integration.
What each application does
After you sign in, the dashboard shows a tile for each application your account can open.
Notify sends voice, SMS, and email notifications to your contact lists and tracks who responded. See What Notify does.
Contact Manager holds the people behind everything else: contacts, contact lists, business units, and user accounts. See What Contact Manager does.
VEOC, the Virtual Emergency Operations Centre, runs your response session: forum messaging, ICS forms, positions, and reports. See What VEOC does.
COP+, the Common Operating Picture, is the live emergency map: hazard areas, resident statuses, roadblocks, and callout. See What COP+ does. The Wildfire module adds fire tracking and notification zones; see What Wildfire does.
E-ERP, Electronic Emergency Response Plans, stores your regulatory response plans for search, viewing, and download. See What E-ERP does.
GRP – Control Points shows Geographic Response Plan control points if H2Safety has loaded them for your company.
You may not see every tile. Access is set per application by your company System Administrator or H2Safety. See Understand roles and permissions.
How the pieces work together
Contact Manager feeds contacts and users to everything else. A session created in COP+ or VEOC pulls its invitees from Contact Manager, notifies them by phone, SMS, and email through callout, and puts the map and the operations room in the same place. See Understand callout and Create a session.
