Find assets and places with Global Search
Global Search zooms the Common Operating Picture (COP+) map to almost anything: a street address, your current location, or a named asset such as a pipeline, facility, valve, or well.
Steps
Open Search in the left-hand menu.
Click Global Search. A small window appears on the right-hand side of the screen.
Choose what to search:
Esri World Geocoder for an address or place, or your current location.
An asset category, such as Company Pipelines, Company Facilities, Company Valves, Company Wells, Third Party Pipelines, Third Party Facilities, or Third Party Wells.
Type the name or address and pick a match from the drop-down list. The map zooms to it.
What you can search
Beyond addresses and company assets, Global Search covers reference layers such as E2 Zones, Area Users, Areas Of Interest, Control Points, Railways, and Reserves. The exact list depends on your organization's data.
