Access closed-session and usage reports

Every closed Virtual Emergency Operations Centre (VEOC) session keeps its full record. The Session Reports icon holds all closed-session reports, three per session, for Administrators and Initiators to reference, print, and file. Ending a session ends the response, not the paper trail.

Before you start

You need Administrator or Initiator access. Reports are available on the web application only, not mobile. See Understand roles and permissions.

Steps

  1. Click the Session Reports icon.

  2. Find the session. Search by session name, date initiated, last activity, who initiated it, or session type, the same filters as browsing active sessions.

  3. Click the session and select one of the three report types.

The three report types

  • Session Report: the breakdown of Forum messages and every attachment added. Breakout room content appears only for Admin and Super Admin users; the full detail of what the report includes and how to export it is in View session and attendance reports.

  • Attendance Report: everyone who was a user in the session, when they were active, their information and status.

  • Usage Report: when specific users were active, with dates, times, and attendance presented in charts. Built for Administrators; print it for post-incident reviews, audits, or company presentations.

Where this fits

Close a session only when the response is complete, because closed sessions cannot be reopened. From that point, this archive is your single source for the incident record: who was there, what was said, what was shared, and when.
